iQOO Z10R launching on July 24 with 12GB RAM, 4K cameras, and a 5700mAh battery — full scoop inside

If you thought the under ₹20,000 segment had settled into safe, boring territory, iQOO is about to stir things up. On July 24, the brand will launch the iQOO Z10R in India, a phone that brings high-end specs into a price range that’s usually reserved for compromise.

This isn’t just another mid-range Android device with a fancy name. It’s got power under the hood, cameras aimed at content creators, and a sleek design that looks like it belongs in a premium lineup. The teaser page on Amazon is live, and if the early specs are anything to go by, iQOO knows exactly where to hit.

Launch date confirmed. Mark July 24 on your calendar

iQOO has locked the Z10R’s India debut for July 24. It will be available on Amazon right after the launch, with the product page already teasing some heavy-hitting specs. This new model expands the Z10 lineup, which already includes the Z10x and Z10 Lite. But make no mistake, the Z10R is no filler release. It’s positioned as the most performance-packed device of the series yet.

This phone isn’t just fast. It’s trying to lead the pack

Let’s get straight to the numbers. The iQOO Z10R is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. This chipset has already proven itself in benchmarks, crossing 750,000 on AnTuTu and around 3,000 in Geekbench’s multi-core tests. That’s solid performance territory, and definitely rare in this price segment.

Paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, this phone is built to handle everything from intense multitasking to mobile gaming. There’s also support for virtual RAM expansion, allowing apps to run smoother by borrowing a portion of the internal storage. On paper, it’s set up to be a budget powerhouse.

Curved AMOLED display, thin frame, premium in-hand feel

Where most brands still throw flat LCD panels under ₹20K, iQOO is offering a quad-curved 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports vibrant colors and smooth transitions, and the curves give the phone a high-end look that will turn heads.

The Z10R is just 7.39mm thick, making it one of the slimmest phones in its class. Despite its large battery, the phone keeps a sleek profile. It comes with a center-aligned punch-hole for the front camera and curved edges for a more comfortable grip. Early renders show a glossy back panel with iQOO’s signature branding and a soft blue variant already confirmed.

Cameras that speak the language of creators

iQOO has focused hard on optics this time. The Z10R packs a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor on the rear, complete with optical image stabilization. This should result in sharper low-light shots and more stable video footage. Next to it sits an 8MP secondary lens, likely for depth or ultra-wide functions.

On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. Both cameras support 4K video, giving vloggers and reel creators plenty to work with. Below the camera module sits a dedicated Aura Light ring, which is designed to provide soft fill light in dark settings. iQOO is clearly targeting young users who prioritize video quality and aesthetics.

Battery and charging that won’t hold you back

Here’s where things get interesting. The iQOO Z10R comes with a 5700mAh battery. That’s already one of the largest in the sub-₹20K range. It also supports 90W wired fast charging, which can take the phone from low to full in well under an hour.

There’s also bypass charging built in. This lets current power the phone directly instead of going through the battery during gaming or video calls, reducing heat and preserving battery health. It’s a small but smart feature for anyone who uses their phone for hours at a stretch.

IP68 rating, stereo speakers, Android 15 out of the box

Durability is not usually a selling point in this price range, but the Z10R is bringing more than expected. It comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. That means it can survive rain, splashes, and even short submersion. The phone also includes stereo speakers, a graphite cooling system for sustained performance, and Android 15 with Funtouch OS or OriginOS depending on region.

All this positions the Z10R not just as a good phone under ₹20K, but as a real threat to phones that cost ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 more.

Pricing: All signs point to ₹19,999

Although official pricing will be announced on launch day, all current reports and early listings suggest a base price of ₹19,999. That puts it in the sweet spot between the more expensive Neo 10R and the lower-tier Z10x. If this pricing holds true, the Z10R may end up being one of the most value-loaded phones of the year.

Competitors like Realme Narzo 80 Pro, Samsung Galaxy F56, and Vivo Y400 Pro are likely to feel the pressure. With its camera system, battery, and design alone, the Z10R already has a stronger feature list on paper.

Final word: Should you wait for the Z10R? Absolutely

This isn’t just a spec sheet brag. iQOO seems to have listened to what buyers actually want. Big battery. Fast performance. Flagship-style cameras. Sleek design. And durability features that are genuinely useful.

If you’re looking to buy a phone under ₹20,000, waiting just a few more days for the Z10R is a smart move. The specs are real, the pricing looks promising, and the feature set punches way above its class.

Let’s see how it performs once it hits hands-on reviews. But for now, iQOO has everyone’s attention. And rightfully so.
